ZOLLER PARTICIPATES IN COOKING EVENT
TO RAISE MONEY FOR RESCUE MISSION

(UTICA, NY) November 11, 2008 – Jeff Zoller, managing director of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, the Zoller Group, in Clayville, NY was one of nearly 30 local business and community leaders who participated in the 16th Annual Gourmet Guys to the Rescue fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 2.

The event, held at Hart’s Hill Inn in Whitesboro, NY, was to help provide funding for the Rescue Mission of Utica, a non-profit organization that aids the homeless and needy in the area. Local businessmen cooked their special dishes as paid visitors strolled through the elegant ballroom, tasting the unique cuisines. Chef Zoller prepared his favorite meal: Cajun Surprise. The dish, which consists of rice and beans, is his wife’s secret family recipe, and a tribute to her hometown of New Orleans. Zoller’s daughters assisted in the preparation.
“This was such a great opportunity,” said Zoller. “Not only was it a fun evening, but nearly 300 people attended. Such a successful event helps the Rescue Mission in so many ways.”

For decades, financial representatives of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network have been committed to improving the quality of life in their local communities by concentrating their financial and volunteer support in the areas of: education, urban life, health, civic life, arts and culture. The enduring relationship between the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and local communities creates the connected, caring relationship the company hopes to achieve with policy owners. Zoller’s efforts demonstrate his commitment to the community.
Last year, the Rescue Mission supplied meals for 180,000 hungry citizens, as well as providing assistance for those facing homelessness and substance abuse. For more information about the Rescue Mission, visit www.uticamission.org.
